Marble Cliff features sidewalks graced with dogs, bikes,
kids, and joggers alike. Passersby are always greeted with a pleasant hello.
Charming cottages, stately manors, unique duplexes, and storybook homes
combine to create a neighborhood rich in history. Nearby Grandview High
School graduates about 100 kids a year. It offers a quaint neighborhood
presence, just enough to hear marching band practice sessions and Friday
night football cheers.
Parks, barber shops, dry cleaners, hair salons, book stores, flower shops, and restaurants line our downtown area. People travel for miles to enjoy some of the area’s best Italian, Japanese, seafood, BBQ, and several pack-’em-in-tight Sunday breakfast spots. We even have our own movie theater. It may only have two screens, but it wouldn’t be Marble Cliff if it were a megaplex. (If a megaplex is what you’re looking for, there’s one just a few miles away.)
Surprisingly, we’re quite the fashion hounds, as well. You’ll find upscale clothing boutiques around many corners. And there’s no shortage of coffee—four major coffee houses and all of the social wonder that comes with keep us energized. You’ll find down-to-earth pleasantries like our community garden, plus indulgences like a sophisticated day spa.
It’s an active neighborhood, where drivers move a little slower because they know people are out and about. A simple drive through town gives you a glimpse of daily life here. It’s quiet and pure, but abuzz with activity. It’s one of the last great neighborhoods in our metropolitan area. All of this and still so close to downtown Columbus.
